There is no reason openSUSE can't have its own distinct visual theme, but it has to be complete and perfect. Oxygen is already very far in that regard and it would be a lot of work to get there with a new theme build from scratch. Maybe once the KDE community moves to git we can create a Oxygen based theme in a git branch with some specific changes for openSUSE or something...

However the main thing here is work: somebody got to do that ;-)

So I suggest to see if you can either work with the Oxygen ppl on improving it, or find ppl within openSUSE who are willing to help you design a different theme. Either domino/oxygen/whatever based or from scratch.Jos Poortvliethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05243886270488333877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31633408.post-82143965477222719082010-07-28T07:38:12.362-06:002010-07-28T07:38:12.362-06:00i dont think glassy theme wil make it look any ...i dont think glassy theme wil make it look any 'weaker or unreliable'.

i think a unpolished, no attention to detail, theme, will make it seem unreliable.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17443142755515534027noreply@blogger.com
